Saw people on Twitter attack Snow for being a bad mother on OUAT because she wanted a baby and once she realised she couldn’t mold Emma she needed a new baby and I was like ??? Have we watched same show? She only ever wanted to be by her daughter’s side growing up because her mom died when she was young I am so confused as to why they hate so much she is quite a compelling hero wth…. her heart was pure and in the right place but she navigated a complicated world surrounded by people with their own agenda who didn’t care if they killed to get what they wanted. Her mother was murdered for being a privileged cunt when she was a young adult and also the Queen I think that might have scarred her a little. Wdym you are willing to be compassionate towards Regina for being a bad person trying to reform herself but you look down on Snow for being a good person whose worst trait is being confident/obnoxious/self-righteous (have your pick) like that is crazy….. the only reason why Snow never got to be her mom because Regina had beef with her since she was 10 like come on this was never a fair fight….
my friends don’t understand that they may forgive their boyfriends for treating them like literal shit but i will neverrrr eveeerrrr forgive them or forget! i hate your boyfriends. i want them dead. i’m planning their execution. i never wanna see them again unless they’re in a photo with the gates of heaven in the background with the text “fly high” on it and even then i’m gonna say they should’ve died in a worse way.
here’s the thing about adulthood-
you will go for like three months with nothing happening and you’re bored as hell and then in the span of two weeks eight different things happen at once - some fantastic and some shitty and some just plain bonkers - and you’re just running around like a chicken with your head cut off and no clue what the fuck is going on
can we finally acknowledge the immense power religion wields over politics as a problem and stop treating atheism/secularism as a cringe reddit thing but a prerequisite for a functioning democracy
and like. i’m sorry but religious minorities can only have rights if the state is religiously neutral. so that’s a shit argument against atheism and secularism. please can we identify religion as the problem at this point. finally.
religion sucks, all religions suck, literally every single one of them is used to exacerbate and justify structural oppression, removing it from public life and govt is NOT a bad fucking thing. we need to make it an important political point, something we actively fight for!
